Astronomy is one of my favorite ways to regain perspective. Looking up on a clear night has a way of shrinking the day down to size.

#What I enjoy about it

I like the mix of quiet, wonder, and learning. Whether it's recognizing familiar patterns in the sky or just taking in a clear evening, astronomy gives me a slower kind of curiosity than most day-to-day work does.

#Why it belongs here

For me, astronomy sits right at the intersection of science, nature, and reflection. It is one of the interests that best captures the tone I want for this site: curious, grounded, and a little bit awestruck.
