Life Away from the Keyboard
When I think about what I want a personal site to do, I don't really want it to function as a second resume. I want it to feel like a place that reflects the full shape of my life.
Software engineering is a big part of that, and it's still the thread that ties a lot of my work together. But a lot of the things that make me feel most grounded happen away from a desk: getting out on the water, putting in a workout, slowing down for a round of golf, paying attention to the natural world, looking up at the night sky, or getting lost in a good game.
Those interests are different on the surface, but they share a lot. They reward patience. They ask for attention. They make small improvements feel meaningful. They remind me that progress usually comes from showing up consistently, not from forcing everything at once.
That's the version of a personal site I want to keep building here: one that includes the professional side of my life, but also the things that make that work sustainable and interesting.
